Reflecting our industrial strengths, the region’s universities and independent technology transfer centres have developed complementary, inter-locking skill sets and facilities.  Together these form an integrated and comprehensive RD&D capability of international repute.

  

Current investment activity focuses on strengthening core energy research and development, through demonstration and deployment; building national and international capability in our energy innovation centres; and by extending the economic impact in the wider business base.
