Sustainable Energy Network Stakeholder Group
The purpose of the Sustainable Energy Network pilot in the North East is to achieve the critical success factors that will determine whether the programme is rolled out across the UK. In broad terms these relate to the achievement of significant increases in domestic carbon savings and householder engagement.
At the heart of the Sustainable Energy Network is a behavioural change model that defines tools such as advice, accreditation and financial incentives that contribute to getting householders to take action. The model is used to identify barriers to action which in turn form the priorities for the advice centre to action through its business functions which are:
· Providing consumer advice,
· Developing the supply chain,
· Forming Partnerships to simplify communications and consumer paths to action.
