This event will inform Local Authority Planners and Councillors of the considerations to be made in plan making policy, case assessment and decision-making for wind energy.

At this NOF Energy networking lunch you will hear key project information from KBR, a leading global engineering, construction and services company supporting the energy, petrochemicals, government services and civil infrastructure sectors.

There are over 140 free workshops plus fringe events taking place in Brussels that week, bringing together policy-makers and practitioners from regional organisations, universities and local authorities from all over Europe and beyond, plus representatives from EU and international institutions, industry, unions, NGOs and think-tanks.

The subject matter “energy” will be considered from five different angles which constitute topical fields: technology, geography and politics, society, economy, and individual aspects.

Ignition09 is the UK’s first dedicated wood fuel expo and will provide networking opportunities for organisations involved in the supply chain as well as those interested in finding out more about how wood fuel can benefit their business.
